welcome to tomorrow's technology

Located in the heart of the City of London, Insurance Technology Forums (‘ITF’) streamlines the process of marketing for companies keen to engage with the 600+ insurers, brokers, agents and service companies who make up the Lloyd’s and London insurance community, facilitating access to over 200,000 insurance professionals.

In 2010 ITF launched its ‘IT Matters’ and ‘Security Matters’ speaker events to provide a platform for innovators and thought-leaders to examine and discuss the burgeoning technology needs of insurers, underwriters, brokers and managing agents.

Attended by IT practitioners and business decision-makers within the industry, the two programmes of events inform, engage and inspire delegates by sharing experience, knowledge and the latest developments on matters of technology innovation and online security within the insurance sector.

Whether for improved process, enhanced productivity, greater business capacity or the achievement of regulatory compliance, technology is at the heart of today’s – and tomorrow’s – insurance businesses.

Complementary ‘invitation-only’ events
And our series of regular complementary events - ‘by invitation-only’ forums and briefings - bring together the most influential insurance people and most compelling insurance technology hot topics for round-table, in-depth discussion.

Understanding our sector’s needs
The annual ITF programme of forums and briefings is marketed, managed and hosted by ITF senior personnel, supported by IT specialists from leading technology service providers and system integrators who understand this market and its unique demands and challenges.

ITF: at the heart of business future-proofing forum.
Our speaker events usually take place in the prestigious, oak-panelled Lloyd’s Old Library - the meeting place of the community and located at the landmark Lloyd’s building in Lime Street, London EC3.

For the convenience of delegates, our events are convened as ‘lunch forums’ and include an introduction; presentations by experts in the field; refreshments; and a lively Q&A session: in all, a focused and demanding 90 minutes of compelling ‘thoughts-for-the-day’.

Hard-hitting, business-critical
These are not ‘social networking occasions’ but hard-hitting, business-critical sessions. Each year, more than 1,500 Lloyd’s and London insurance market practitioners attend ITF-managed meetings, briefings and forums.

For CIOs, COOs, finance heads, business process planners, system architects, security and compliance executives, ITF events are proving to be a valuable source of information and reference. ‘IT Matters’ and ‘Security Matters’ forums are ‘free-to-attend’ events and are open to all interested London insurance market practitioners.

Each forum attracts, on average, some 60-140 registrations. A follow-up companion (‘drill-down’) briefing/workshop is usually held 2-4 weeks following the related forum. These sessions are capped at 20 registrations to maximise speaker-delegate dialogues.
