Congratulations! The Winner of the Apple iPad for best suggestion for a future 'Security Matters' Forum Title/Theme was awarded to Micheline Hart, Head of Operational Risk at Brit Insurance.

“The Risk managers role in mitigating cyber risk”.

Risk managers need to understand the evolving cyber threat landscape and exposures to be able to quantify cyber risk exposure and articulate the importance of cyber resiliency to senior stakeholders. It would be really helpful for experts to provide some insight into what good cyber risk management looks like, what key processes and controls should be in place to mitigate cyber risks, what Risk managers should be challenging CISO’s on, etc.

iPad Winner of Cyber Security Governance: Latest Trends, Threats and Risks. November 2023

Introduction

How can your 2023/24 cyber security strategy anticipate the new threats, minimise risk, save on security cost and deliver business reassurance?

No matter the industry, cyber threats only continue to gain sophistication, breadth of impact and cost.  So without question, preparing for the inevitable breach is worth the priority, time, effort, and expense, given the potential for abruptness of system lock-outs, data loss, litigation, damage to brand and erosion of trust. The dilemma is how do you maintain peace of mind that your business is secure by design?

Delivered by Lloyd's market professionals, leading UK/global security and legal experts, these popular, fast paced 75-minute quarterly seminars, provide insight to some of the latest cyber and fraud threat dangers and the proactive steps that market companies (irrespective of size) can make to improve strategies to help combat these attacks.

There will be an opportunity to put questions to the presenters at the end of the forum.

This is a Free event. To register, simply complete the panel below and an email confirmation of your registration will be sent to your email address.
